"RHINOHIDE” ceramic coating is about 40% harder than traditional Teflon coating and is rated at a minimum of 500 hrs. salt spray resistance which is equivalent to seven years of real world exposure. Our ceramic coating withstands between 650°F and 1400°F depending on color and formula making it the perfect coating for machine guns and suppressors. Each firearm is completely disassembled, inspected, degreased and the surface is prepped in a blast cabinet using 120 grit aluminum oxide media. We then wash each part, degrease again, pre-heat, and then apply the coating. We use high temp (250°F) cure and also our ambient cure which can be force cured at 120°F. The ambient cure is perfect for camouflage finishes and can be applied to synthetic stocks and scopes as well as electronic dot sights such as Aimpoint, EoTech, etc. |
